a live virus vaccine? if so i'm up a creek. we;re staying w the inlaws and will be for the next month too at least. mil got her reg flu shot y'day (i'm not concerend about that one)n and is getting the other next month... yikes!

You know...I've heard both. I've heard it's not and then tonight when reading read "both live and unliving vaccines will be available shortly". Larissa may know better.

Nobody knows the answer for sure, but leading flu and immunization experts say they aren't especially worried at this point. At the same time, they suggest the possibility bears watching

Ick. I won't even get a flu shot. And I told my Dad he isn't allowed to ever get one again. Last time he did he gave me and the girls the worst flu of our lives. I'd never had the flu until he got that stupid shot.

I SWEAR Jantzen got whooping cough last year because they gave me the vax for it in the hospital after I had Aubrynne. And he's had the vaccine too!

We definitely won't be getting the H1N1 vax.

Lisa, that's sort of scarey. We vaccinate people for flu, then vaccinate them for H1N1, making the vaccines sort of void each other out, they get the flu (or H1N1) but it now will mutate some because of the bit of vaccine in their bodies. UGH

(Did you see the youtube clip about all the stockpiled plastic caskets??? HOLY CRAP is it freaky! 500,000 of them are piled up in a field here in Georgia....by FEMA!!!! This isn't because of H1N1 but just for a 'biological terror' or 'widespread disease' type of thing. Regardless, there is something so eery about seeing them all stacked up, knowing our government is 'ready'..."just in case". )
